You will be delighted to have the opportunity to explore the breathtaking beauty of Northern Colombia alongside me, a passionate young birder and nature guide based in Santa Marta. With an extensive understanding of the Northern Colombia Birding Trail, I am well-versed in the diverse species that call this region home. Collaborating closely with local communities and fellow guides, my mission is to showcase the extraordinary natural richness of our area. As we venture through the enchanting landscapes, I will be your trusted companion and knowledgeable guide, leading you to remarkable destinations such as the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Tayrona National Park, Los Flamencos Sanctuary, and the Serranía del Perija. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable journey into the heart of Colombia's pristine nature.

Breiner organized the most epic excursion of a lifetime, the Blue-bearded Helmetcrest trek! It required a two-day hike up to 13,000 feet in elevation along some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Santa Marta Mountains, Colombia. Once we reached our destination at the foot of the Sacred Lakes where we camped for 4 days to ensure we spotted them and had ample time to photograph the critically endangered Blue-bearded Helmetcrest. This hummingbird was thought to be extinct for 75 years. I am truly blessed to have taken part of his excursion. Thank you Breiner for taking great care of us!
