About the species:
The Broad-billed hummingbird is a small hummingbird that is about 8-10 cm long. They have dark tails and mostly red bills. From far away, they may look completely dark, but in the right light, you can see beautiful blues and greens on the male's body. The females are less colorful than the males. They are grayish below and have a white stripe behind their eye.
